Land Transportation
Land transportation (road) in the form of FTL (full truckload), LTL (less than or equal to) and transportation of bulky cargo with special belt and bucket trucks from all European countries and Turkey to all customs offices in the country by Parchambar Transportation Company.
International transit with Iranian and foreign trucks is carried out from all corners of the world to all customs offices in the country, depending on customer requests, with the fastest time and lowest possible rate.
Required information for ordering international road transportation:
Loading location (exact address of origin for EXW shipments and name of port of origin for FCA shipments)
Unloading location (name of destination customs office)
Number of trucks (eg. 3 x FTL)
Number of cartons or pallets (indicate STCKABLE or NON-STCKABLE if necessary)
Dimensions and weight of each carton or pallet (preferably in centimeters, otherwise state the unit of measurement)
Type of goods with tariff code (if the goods are dangerous, be sure to attach MSDS)
Advantages of international land transportation:
1- Less investment required
Land transportation (road) Compared to other methods such as rail and air transportation, it requires less investment. On the other hand, the cost of building and maintaining roads is much lower than the cost of building and maintaining railways. Roads are usually built by the government and only a small fee must be paid as tolls in exchange for their use.
2- Door-to-door services
One of the most important advantages of land transportation (road) is that it can provide door-to-door or warehouse-to-warehouse services and significantly reduce the cost of loading, warehousing, and unloading.
3- Ability to serve inaccessible areas
Land transportation (road) is more suitable for transporting goods or passengers to areas that are not accessible by rail, waterways, or air. The exchange of goods between large cities and small villages is also possible only by road.
4- Diverse service
Another advantage of land transportation (road) is that its services are diverse and changeable. The route and timing of truck movements can be changed depending on the needs of customers and their satisfaction can be achieved.
5- Suitable for short distances
For transporting goods over short distances, road transportation is very fast and economical. Goods can be loaded onto trucks and sent directly to their destination without the need for any intermediaries.
6- Less risk of damage to goods
Since there is no need for unloading and loading along the way, the risk of damage or breakage to the goods is very low. Perhaps this is why road transport is more suitable for transporting fragile goods such as porcelain and crystal, as there is a high probability that such goods will be damaged during repeated loading and unloading along the way.
7- Lower packaging costs
Compared to other methods of transportation, the packaging process of goods in road transport is less complicated. Goods transported in this way do not need to be wrapped in multiple packages.
8- Speed of transport
For goods that need to reach the consumer quickly, land (road) transport is the most suitable option. You know that water transport is very slow and a lot of time is spent on loading.
9- Private cars
Another advantage of land (road) transport is that businessmen and capitalists can start small companies and provide customers with appropriate services without delay.
Considering the above, it can be said that transporting goods by land by road is very safe and economical and even feeds other modes of transport. In many cases, road transport feeds other modes of transport such as rail, shipping and airlines, delivering goods to them to deliver them to more distant locations.
